About Special Events

Special events and tournaments are a fun way to get involved without committing to a full season of play. They also allow participants already involved in Intramural Leagues to improve and test their skills.

Fall Special Event Registration Opening September 8

Fall Special Event Registration will open on September 8. Register either on-site at the University Recreation/St. Paul Gym or online by visiting the link below. For questions, please contact Matt Johnson at 612-626-0696 or john4356@umn.edu.

How to Register Online

Registration Instructions

• Visit the Active.com registration site.
• Click “forgot my password” and enter your U of MN email to obtain your password. Your new username and password will be sent to you via your U of MN email address.
• View the league options for your event.
• Select your desired day and time to play.
• When prompted, enter in your new login and password that you received from steps #1 and #2.
• Enter the necessary credit card information and complete the purchase.
• Print out your confirmation page for verification purposes.
